ACL: SAFFC gained valuable point against Henan JianYe

SAFFC gained a valuable point against Henan JianYe when they displayed a brilliant defensive performance to hold out against the CSL second runner-up.

Shahril Jantan was once again brilliant between the post as he kept out the Chinese on more than one occasion and so were his defenders and midfielder in front of him as whenever the Chinese appear to have an opening, they will put the bodies on the line to stop the shots.

The defensive performance was so impressive Goal.com had to mention in their report and international defender Hafiz Osman added to that; as he did well enough to be named by Goal.com as one of their starting 11 for matchday one.

It is a good start but a long road lie ahead if SAFFC want to improve on this start.
