Shahril Ishak rescue Home and Assistant Lee

Home United saw Singapore international Shahril Ishak brace help saved what remain of their season and no doubt the job of Korean coach Paul Lee as well.

Assistant Lee once again show what a masterpiece he has on his hand with the reconstruction of Home United as they gave up a two-goal lead, with Shi Jiayi and Shahril Ishak scoring in the first period, with Beijing's Tan Tiancheng hitting a double in a 10-minutes spell.

This is not the first time Home United have 'achieved' that and for me, it make a mockery of Home United fitness regime under Assistant Lee; who is rumored to be so strict on fitness that he has already thrown out two star players.

If they were on a strict fitness regime, the question is why Home United players appear to be losing steam in the second period so often this season for in his game they 'lost' 2-1 in the second period and the game before that, against Young Lions, they 'lost' 2-0.

Has he failed to take into account Singapore weather and believe games can be played like in Korea where they can start games at 1 pm (Try that in Spore and even the Koreans will be finished by the end of it)

No matter what, it is clear Shahril Ishak, who is having an inspired season, has rescue Assistant Lee this time around against the Chinese side but how many times can Home afford to throw away games in the second period.

It cannot go on and he must know that as Suwon, his former club, have seem their coach resigned due to terrible play and even worse results as fans refused to turn up until the coach is gone.

The night after that, the Bulls crushed Sengkang Punggol 3-0 at the Jurong West stadium with goals from Hamqaamal Shah, Agu Casmir and Fazrul Nawaz.
