Murphy leave Sengkang

If Sengkang Punggol are not in enough trouble, then this one will do.

They have lost Murphy Wiredu, last season top scorer with 7 goals, as he depart the bottom-dweller in the transfer window according to Sengkang fan blog Fish Out of Water.

They are now really a fish out of water as they lacked the sting upfront and to lose any goal source is hardly going to help matters.

Especially as their current top scorer Jordan Webb have not scored since ..... I have forgotten as it was that long ago.

Fish Out of Water hope they can get a good replacement but honestly, I am not as optimistic as the last time the club brought in a player who can score double digit, it was in 2006 and Jonathon Angelucci was 'tested' by SAFFC and Woodlands Wellington already.

Also, it helped that the Rams, at that stage still rich enough, helped to 'subside' his pay thus one doubt such strikers are on offer at this point.

Murphy Wiredu played 47 times for the Dolphins and score 10 goals.

With all these promise of a new management and the influx of sponsorship, in the end the Dolphins still left to lick their wounds.

Truly hope they might decide that S League is not their forte next season and decided to quit it
