Etoile stump but continue to lead

The Warriors finally showed their class this season as they thrashed Etoile FC 3-0 at the Queenstown club.

While it is too late for the Warriors this season, it could be a base for them to build on for next season.

This result make one wonder if the French are feeling tired as they continue to campaign on two front for recent performances seem labour; even with positive results until tonight.

Making it worse, the French had two players - Andrea Damiani and Mansour Lakehal - send off and this could affect the team which is looking tired and undermanned.

However, they still hold a one-point advantage in the table and their next two opponents - a much weakened Young Lions and a youthful Albirex Niigata (S) - are certainly much 'easier' compared to the former champions.

Erwan Gunawan was also send off for the Warriors.

Goals from Ivan Jerkovic, Federico Martinez and John Wilkinson secured the Warriors victory.
