Warriors keep their title hopes on track

SAFFC have set their title hopes back on track after they defeated champions Tampines Rovers 1-0 at the Clementi Stadium.

This was a match the Warriors cannot afford to even draw even as they had regained their winning way last week when they defeatedHougang 1-0.

Before that, they had lost 2 of their 3 games and drawn the other one and were fading out of the title race with Brunei DPMM a distance away.

That why it was to their relief, last season top scorer and Player of the Year Mislav Karoglan got the winner as the minutes was clicking away.

In another match, the Jaguars shock Singapore Cup champions Home United by beating them 1-0 with the winner from Takaya Kawanabe.
