Lee: Song want to represent Singapore

Ex-Korea Republic international Paul Lee has praised his young compatriot Song Ui Young who scored and laid on the third for Jordan Webb to seal victory in the 3-1 win against Geylang United.

The 43-year-old also revealed the 19-year-old has hopes of obtaining Singaporean citizenship and representing the Lions.

"I planned to use him in the S.League earlier this season but he initially had a hamstring problem," Lee explained. "So I couldn't use him.

"But now he's back I think he played very well and hopefully he keeps it up.

"His target is to be a Singapore international. Hopefully, he can make his dream come true in the near future."
